Civics Education Workshop Successfully Held in Victoria
On Sunday, 29th September 2024, the Chinese Australian Forum (CAF), in collaboration with the Australian Government’s National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, the Australian Asian Business Women’s Association, and the Chinese Community Council of Australia (VIC), hosted its 2nd Civics Education and Media Literacy Workshop at Kew Golf Club in Victoria.
Facilitated by Dr. Eric Fu of Melbourne University, the 2-hour workshop was attended by 130 participants, who gained insights into:
The three levels of government in Australia.
The separation of powers between Parliament, the Executive, and the Judiciary.
How to actively participate in Australian democracy.
