Roundtable with NSW Minister for Multiculturalism

On 20 March 2024, representatives from CAF together with other Chinese Australian community leaders, were invited to participate in a roundtable discussion the Hon. Stephen Kamper MP, Minister for Multiculturalism, Minister for Small Business, Minister for Lands and Property and Minister for Sport. The event was organised by Simon Chan AM, Multicultural NSW Advisory Board Member and President of CAF, hosted by Multicultural NSW and held at NSWParliament House.

During the two-hour discussion, participants engaged in exchanges and discussions on various issues of concern to the Chinese Australian community, including the political and media impact on the members of the community, racial discrimination, cost of living, transportation concessions and support for international students, diversity and representation at workplace and in arts and entertainment industry.
